Kulite Pressure Transducer Replacement Guide
Kulite is a well-known manufacturer of miniature and ultraminiature pressure transducers used widely in aerospace, test, and research applications. This page maps published Kulite model numbers to DABEY alternatives, with a specification comparison for each one.
- 5 Kulite model families mapped
- Millivolt bridge and amplified outputs
- Absolute, gauge, and sealed gauge
- Specs sourced from published datasheets
Kulite Models and DABEY Alternatives
Click any DABEY model for the full side-by-side specification comparison.
| Kulite model | DABEY alternative | Output type | Kulite pressure range | DABEY standard coverage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| XCQ-062 | UPT200 | Millivolt bridge | 5–1000 PSI | 5–1000 PSI |
| HKM-375 | MPTW100 | Millivolt bridge | 100–20,000 PSI | 0–2 to 0–70 MPa |
| ETM-375 | MPTW100 | 5 V amplified | 100–20,000 PSI | 0–2 to 0–70 MPa |
| XTL-100-190 | MPTW500 | Millivolt bridge | 10–2000 PSI | 0–2 to 0–70 MPa |
| ETM-634(X)-312(M) | MPTW800 | Amplified | 290–5076 PSI | 0–2 to 0–70 MPa |
Ranges shown are as published by each manufacturer. Where ranges differ, customized ranges may be available.
- Millivolt bridge transducer? The DABEY equivalent is a millivolt output variant such as UPT200, MPTW100 S1/S2, or MPTW500 S1/S2. It requires stable excitation and clean shielding.
- Amplified transducer? The DABEY equivalent is an amplified variant such as MPTW100 S4–S6 or MPTW800 S4, which includes on-board conditioning.
- Starting point. Match the output type first, then the pressure range, then the mechanical interface. Most mismatches come from the last step, not the first.
How to Find Your Replacement
- Identify the original model number. It is stamped on the transducer body or printed on the calibration certificate.
- Open the matching comparison page. Published specifications are listed side by side, including accuracy, impedance, temperature, weight, and mounting.
- Confirm the four critical parameters. Reference type, pressure range, output and impedance, and mechanical interface. Everything else follows.
- Request a fit check. Send your range, output, temperature window, and mounting constraints. We confirm the closest configuration and return a drawing.
What to Check Before Replacing a Kulite Sensor
Reference type
Absolute, gauge, and sealed gauge are available across the range. This is the first parameter that rules a sensor in or out.
Output and impedance
Millivolt bridge and amplified outputs behave differently at the data acquisition end. Match the output type and check input and output impedance against your system.
Mechanical interface
Thread, hex size, insertion depth, and O-ring dimensions decide whether a swap is possible at all. Check against your assembly drawing.
Temperature and media
Compensated temperature windows and wetted materials vary by model. Confirm both against your process conditions.
