Frequently Asked Questions
Technical support for pressure sensors, accelerometers, and drop‑in replacements for Kulite, PCB, and Druck.
1. Drop‑in Replacements & Compatibility
Yes. Dabey pressure sensors and accelerometers are designed as 1:1 form, fit, and function replacements for most standard models from Kulite, PCB Piezotronics, and Druck. Same mounting threads, same output signals, and equivalent or better performance. No system redesign required.
Please contact our application engineers with your current model number. We will provide a cross‑reference analysis within 24 hours.
Yes. Many Dabey sensors are already deployed in engine test cells, wind tunnels, crash tests, and flight hydraulics. They meet or exceed original specs for resonant frequency, thermal stability, and signal compatibility.
2. Technical Specifications
Up to 400 kHz for our high‑frequency series (e.g., MPT800). Lower ranges are available depending on the model.
Yes. Our accelerometers (e.g., 681C02) operate up to 500°C. Pressure sensors are available with high‑temperature options up to 150°C.
Typical accuracy: ±0.1% and ±0.2% FS (BFSL) for standard models. Some series offer ±0.25% FS. All sensors are individually calibrated with traceable certificate.
Yes. The main types of acceleration sensors we offer are IEPE and ICP acceleration sensors.
3. Customization & Engineering Support
Yes. We offer custom threads (metric, UNF, etc.), armored cables, PTFE or silicone jackets, and various connectors (MIL, Lemo, BNC, etc.). Minimum order quantity for custom modifications is low – contact us with your specification.
Typically 2‑4 weeks for moderate modifications (threads, cables, connectors). Full custom designs may take 4‑6 weeks.
Yes. Many ranges and outputs (4‑20mA, 0‑10V, mV/V, digital) are available as standard or custom. Please provide your requirements.
4. Delivery, Pricing & Warranty
4‑6 weeks for most standard models. Compare with 6‑9 months from incumbent brands. Expedited service available for urgent projects.
Yes. Our direct‑to‑engineer model reduces costs. Typical savings are 30‑40% compared to equivalent branded sensors.
12‑month standard warranty covering manufacturing defects. Extended warranty available for certain projects.
Yes. Engineering samples are available for qualified projects. Contact us with your application details.
5.Quality, Calibration & Certifications
Yes. Every sensor is shipped with an individual factory calibration report . Optionally, you can request third‑party calibration from a national defense metrology lab.
Our manufacturing and calibration processes follow ISO 9001:2015 guidelines.
Yes. STEP files are available for most standard models. Please request via our CAD Library or contact engineering support.
